Available Positions
CNC Machinist
+Position Summary/Responsibilities:
- Interpret complex engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
- Working knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Setup CNC machines including loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces
- Proficiency operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
- Develop CNC programs as required using Mazatrol conversational (Mazak and Mazatrol experience preferred but not required)
- Optimize programs for efficiency and quality
- Troubleshoot and debug programs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of programming, setup, and production activities
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
- Collaborate closely with production manager, engineering, and quality control to resolve technical challenges and implement process improvements
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve problems and optimize production efficiency
What You Must Have:

- High school diploma with completion of a state-certified machinist apprenticeship program or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a machinist in a job shop and/or production environment
- Demonstrated expertise in the programming and setup of CNC mills and lathes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and/or part of a team

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

Additional Details:
- Monday – Thursday, Day shift 7:00 – 5:30 (10 hours)
- Friday – up to 10 hours overtime (as required)
- Work Location: In person, at our facility located in Chesterfield, VA
